the Defense of Children’s Rights (NADA)
The Algerian Network for the Defense of Children’s Rights (NADA) has been active for more than twenty years in protecting and implementing children’s rights throughout the national territory. This work has enabled it to establish itself and emerge in society to form a solid and committed network.
Today, through its expertise and know-how, the NADA network has become an essential actor. Its experience in the field of children in difficult situations is sought after by other actors to work with NADA in partnership for the defense of children’s rights in Algeria. This is achieved through awareness-raising projects and programs, education, communication, protection, and advocacy focusing on quality access to social and judicial protection for children in various situations, including abused children, children in family and marital conflicts, children born out of wedlock, those facing economic and social exploitation in the informal market, victims of sexual exploitation through social networks
This work falls within the framework of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is taken into account by Algerian legislation.
