ECPAT International congratulates ECPAT Mexico for its success in the fight against child sex tourism. On April 9, 2013 during Mexico-Cancun Flight 708 Volaris Airlines became the first Latin American airline to sign The Code of Conduct (TheCode.org).

Volaris joins ECPAT Mexico in its efforts to combat the sexual exploitation of children in the travel and tourism industry. “Airlines play a role in the fight to ensure that all children are fully protected against all forms of violence and sexual exploitation, as the growing ease of travel, along with new technologies create new challenges” said the National Coordinator of ECPAT Mexico, “We are thrilled to have the support and commitment [in our] efforts against sex tourism.”
