In East Africa, She Leads has been working with partners, Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children (KAACR), to increase the sustained influence of girls and young women in decision-making for gender-responsive laws and policies. The She Leads program is being implemented in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and is making a real difference in the lives of girls and young women in the region.
In Kenya, She Leads has been working with local organizations to empower girls and young women to advocate for their rights and participate in decision-making processes. The program has been especially successful in working with socially excluded and exploited girls and young women, who are often marginalized and excluded from decision-making environments.
Through its work in Kenya and East Africa, She Leads is helping to create a safer world for all children, free from exploitation and abuse. The program is making a real difference in the lives of girls and young women in the region and is helping to ensure that their voices are heard, and their rights are protected.
