Every child has the right to protection

Posted on Aug 10, 2012

All children have the right to live free from all forms of sexual exploitation. Will you join us to make this a reality?

Commercial sexual exploitation, in all its forms, seriously compromises children’s rights to enjoy their youth and their ability to lead a productive, rewarding and dignified life. Children from every country, background, ethnic origin and gender may fall victim to sexual exploitation. The impact of sexual exploitation scars them for life, with children often experiencing severe emotional, physical and psychological consequences as a result of their exploitation.

The commercial sexual exploitation of children has many manifestations, including child prostitution, child sex tourism, child pornography and trafficking for sexual purposes.
