Join ISPCAN, the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) and ECPAT International to learn about a free online training series that gives child protection professionals across disciplines the knowledge and tools they need to become “Agents of Change” in combating the sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Dr. Jordan Greenbaum, ISPCAN board member and medical director of ICMEC, and Fabio González Flórez, Regional Coordinator for the Americas at ECPAT, will present an overview of child sexual abuse and exploitation, profiles of victims and their needs, and how the Agents of Change training was developed and what you will learn.

Designed for frontline workers in the field of child sexual exploitation including law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, and child protection authorities, this training includes three levels: Basic Foundations, the Faces of Sexual Exploitation of Children, and Agents of Change Taking Action.

The series is available in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, Russian, and Portuguese.

About the Presenters:

Jordan Greenbaum, MD
Jordan is a retired child abuse physician living in Atlanta, GA. She has worked in the field of child maltreatment for over 20 years. She is the medical director of the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and past medical director of the Stephanie Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She was a co-chair of the Education/Training committee for HEAL Trafficking, an organization of medical professionals working on human trafficking issues. She is a member of ISPCAN’s Board of Directors.

Fabio González Flórez, Regional Coordinator for the Americas, ECPAT International
Fabio is a child rights activist from Colombia. He has previously served as Senior Project Officer at the International Secretariat in Bangkok, Thailand, where he led the global portfolio on access to justice and victim-centered approaches. He has held various senior positions in the Colombian government, working to assist youth during the COVID-19 pandemic, violence against children, sexual exploitation, and trafficking, and has also served as consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
