Although Poland was the only country in the EU to avoid a recession during the 2009 financial crisis, critical social issues such as CSEC are still prevalent. Whilst Poland has made some progress in combating CSEC in recent years (mostly in relation to trafficking of children for sexual purposes), Poland still needs to implement a more coordinated and systematic response to the issue to facilitate comprehensive prevention and protection against all manifestations.
